Morehouse School of Medicine
President and Dean

It is my pleasure to extend an invitation for you to attend a very exciting conference taking place this fall in Los Cabos, Mexico. Morehouse School of Medicine will partner with Life Luxe Learning for a continuing education conference -- Cabo Cares: Building Bridges to Address Current Disparities in Healthcare. The conference will foster collaboration amongst healthcare professionals in the United States and Mexico, while providing the opportunity to examine and discuss health disparities that resonate in all communities.

Founded in 1975, Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) is among the nation's leading educators of primary care physicians, biomedical scientists and public health professionals. In 2011, MSM was recognized by Annals of Internal Medicine as the nation's No. 1 medical school in fulfilling a social mission. MSM faculty and alumni are noted for excellence in teaching, research and public policy, as well as exceptional patient care.

For more than thirty years, Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) has provided a wide range of fully- accredited CME programs to physicians and other health care professionals. This conference will allow attendees the chance to enjoy an event that is sure to motivate ideas and generate solutions to the complex matters of health disparities. I could not think of a better venue nor a more deserving partnership than with the Letty Coppel Foundation. With our focus on STEAM we are excited to celebrate the importance of ART in STEAM through the art of music.

I ask that you join me in this culturally rich experience. It is not often that we have the opportunity to collaborate on this level.

Life Luxe Gives and Morehouse School of Medicine are pleased to Partner with the Letty Coppel Foundation and the Amigos de los Ninos to provide much needed medical supports in one of the areas hit hardest by Tropical Storm Lidia. Millions of people were impacted and thousands devasted by the storm which left 20 people dead.

Several areas are still trying to recover from the tragic event and are in need of medical assistance. Through our local Partnerships we plan to bring several medical professionals to one of the barrios to do medical assessments and screenings.

More details of the off-site outreach program are developing. Medical professionals will be able to register to participate. Space is limited.
